After more than 30 years in business, my predecessor known beyond many regions died in 1987, a man of reputation in his time - Hans Peter Schmidt.

His last words said that I should continue his business, and when I work for somebody I should do this as if I worked for myself.

In addition, he entrusted his experience and travel route to me - the recipe of his success - and he gave the starting point of his career to me, which started 1988 in the Bavarian Forest, to take with me.

However, modern communication methods left the "old tradition" and personal things somewhat in the background, but I have kept the old principle "does not work - does not exist".
